pottery bowl constructed from hosta leaves.

Veins are hand-carved on both the interior and exterior of the bowl.

I use my original hosta leaf stamp to create a variety of pottery pieces from small single leaf dishes and bowls to larger multiple leaf bowls that are made both shallow and deep to suit a variety of needs and uses.(Always Food Safe).

One of the first things that I hand-built with clay, was a hosta leaf bowl.  I  wanted to create a centerpiece for my table that was both decorative and functional. The  first leaf bowl I ever made is currently being used to hold fresh oranges on my dining room table.  I have also used it as a serving bowl, a center piece filled with natural objects and to hold my yarn while knitting.  They are very versatile bowls with a little imagination.
